New Visions Media1's main goal is to create powerful uplifting media in entertainment, documentary and promotional genres.

Michael has written, directed and edited five feature movies from 1999 to 2010, two of which were distributed internationally. The following year Michael entered into a five year training endeavor focusing on media production, motion graphics and editing. During that time he won the Georgia State USA Skills Short Film competition twice, and then goes on to win 2nd place in the National USA Skills short film competition winning against 22 of the top technical film schools in the country.
Michael currently serves as Director of New Visions Media 1, where they maintain a regular production schedule of feature movies, documentaries and online web series.

Since the start of New Visions Media 1, Mazola has been the Project Coordinator.
She has played a significant roll in every part of the productions created by the
company which has been in existence since 2001. As the Project Coordinator,
she has taken the position of making sure the projects get completed on time and
within budget. 2nd Camera, Assistant Director, Make-up Artist are just some of the
positions she has held within our group.

Lionel Montel Elder

The son of Percy and Sarah Elder, Lionel Montel Elder grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and Detroit, Michigan. He fell in love with movies as a child when his mother would take him and his four brothers to the drive-in to watch black exploitation movies like Shaft, Coffee and Blacula. While attending Morehouse College he met award winning filmmaker Spike Lee, who was on campus filming School Daze (1988). Spike Lee spoke on the movie industry at a business class. Elder was in attendance.
On his first movie, Elder worked as the Director of Photography for Mazola Brown (producer) and
Michael Harris (Producer, Director) of New Visions Film Group on the feature, Reflections (2000).
The movie won the Best New Creative Filmmaker Award at a film festival in Memphis, Tennessee. Elder’s second movie was a feature that he wrote, produced, and directed, called Another Lover Hole In Your Head. (2001).
Elder and Maya Fillingame co-wrote the screenplays, Hollywood High (2004) and The Easton Assassin (2004) A story about the legendary heavyweight champion boxer Larry Holmes.
Elder teamed back up with New Visions Film Group and served as the Director of Photography on several movies, The Common Denominators (2005), The Chip Factor (2006), Wanga Woman (2008) and The Audition (2009). Lionel Montel Elder lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his producing partner, Erin Graham and their charming daughters, Ariyannah, Kayla, and Allie. He is currently in various stages of production on several feature film projects.
